Donation Wishlist

As a non-profit shelter, Humane Society of Walden relies on the generous support of our community to provide essential care while working to find loving homes for our furry friends.

To make it easier for our supporters to contribute, we have created a comprehensive wishlist of items that would greatly benefit the animals under our care.

By ordering from our wishlists, you directly impact the well-being of these animals, providing them with the necessary supplies and comforts they deserve.

Wish List Items

These essential items include high-quality pet food to nourish our furry residents, sturdy crates and carriers for safe transportation, cozy bedding to ensure their comfort, durable toys for enrichment, and supplies for their well-being. Additionally, cleaning and sanitation products are vital to maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our animals.

If you can help, please drop off these much-needed supplies to our shelter during business hours, or ship them to us (2489 Albany Post Road, Walden, NY 12586).

FOOD

• Iams dry dog + puppy food
• Purina Naturals dry cat + kitten food
• Any brand canned dog + puppy food
• Friskies canned cat food
• Fancy Feast canned kitten food
• KMR (kitten milk replacement formula) and Kitten bottles
• 1 lb + 1/2 lb disposable food trays
• 4Health dry dog food – Salmon flavor preferred

CARE & ENRICHMENT

• Cat toys
• Dog toys (tennis balls, tug toys)
• Cat Litter (pine pellets)
• Blue dawn dish soap (for flea baths)
• Towels, sheets, blankets
• Peanut butter

CLEANING

• Disposable gloves
• Paper towels
• Cleaning Supplies (fabuloso, lysol, floor cleaner)
• Bleach
• Garbage bags (tall kitchen and heavy duty large black bags)

GIFT CARDS

Gift cards are always welcome as donations, as they allow us to purchase specific supplies and items that are most needed at any given time.

• When you’re out shopping at Tractor Supply Co In Pine Bush… checkout and donate a gift card towards our pals care here! We partnered with them to help make it easier to “just swipe” towards helping to care for our pets! You get to see their adorable faces which makes it oh so much sweeter to say, “sure I’ll donate some goodies for that face!” We use these to purchase litter and food.
• At the checkout lines, in the Montgomery ShopRite (99 Hawkins Drive), you’ll notice some photos of our adoptable pets. Attached to those photos is a $5 gift card that you can purchase at checkout. These gift cards help us purchase supplies to keep their spaces clean while they are waiting for a fur-ever home.
