Pet Pantry
Introducing the HSW Pet Pantry Program
As millions of Americans brace for a potential pause in SNAP benefits, many families may be worried about how to care for not only their human family members, but their beloved pets as well. We believe no one should ever have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pets.
In preparation for a possible increase in need, HSW is formalizing our Pet Pantry program to help ensure local families can continue to care for their animals during difficult times. Through this program, we’ll provide pet food and essential supplies to community members facing financial hardship. It’s near and dear to our hearts to help keep pets in their homes, where they belong.
We’re taking proactive steps now to strengthen our pantry and encourage our community to get involved. Donations of unopened pet food, treats, and supplies are always welcome, as are contributions toward purchasing bulk items to meet growing demand.
We also encourage pet owners in need of additional resources to visit Pets.findhelp.com, a national database connecting families with local assistance programs for pets.
Together, we can help ensure that every family continues to thrive in our community.
