From Adoptions to Heating Upgrades: August, 2025 Milestones

August was another incredible month!

• 60 pets adopted – that’s 120 adoptions in just two months.
• 40 new cats and dogs welcomed into our care.
• 50 pets in foster homes – thank you to our amazing fosters who make healing and second chances possible.

But that’s not all…

💛 Capital Campaign – Chapter One: COMPLETE!

We’ve officially reached our first campaign goal: replacing our outdated heating system. Our faithful 1980s unit gave warmth for decades, but it was clear last winter would be its last. Ensuring our pups will be safe and warm this coming season was the only place to begin.

To everyone who helped—whether you shopped a yard sale, recycled bottles, attended a class, or made a generous donation—you are the reason we can say CHAPTER ONE IS DONE! Our hearts are full, and our pups will soon be cozy thanks to you.

Sean and the team at Perfect Temperature will begin work next month, just in time for chilly days.
